I hadn’t been back to my Alma mater since I graduated in December of 2022. My first year back as an alumna was full of nostalgic moments, busy campus streets, vendors galore, Rattlers young and old and a plethora of Black beauty.

My experiences at FAMU and in the Tallahassee community made me the visionary and storyteller I am now. Our communities are beautiful, our cultural is contagious and we deserve to be seen in better ways. There’s love in community, you better go find yours.
